Webinar on (de)urbanization
Part of the open webinars series organized by the Századvég Group, our final event in 2021 will focus on the urbanization and de-urbanization processes in Hungary and in Europe.
Századvég will present the results of its recent research focusing on how the Hungarian population perceives cities, villages, and the countryside; how members of the population relate to living in the cities or in the countryside; the current mobilization trends. The study brings forward recent data on the trends of urban-village population flows Hungary, and contributes to the discussion on the topic of de-urbanization trends in Europe.
A lively panel discussion will follow the presentation with participants from the various departments of the European Commission and the European Parliament, and Hungarian and Austrian research institutions.
